Another One Bites the Dust!!!

On the eve of October 8 Kevin Leith of Team ArcheryEdge scored on this nice 8 point. Kevin took the deer on some heavily pressured hunting land in Barry County, MI. We rough scored the deer around 117".

Kevin Leith is one of thee luckiest hunters in the whitetail woods.... No but seriously, this young man is a whitetail killing machine. Kevin has been blessed to take a 174” Michigan Monster several years ago and apparently his luck/skill hasn’t run out yet. Kevin shot this beautiful Michigan buck on HEAVILY pressured hunting land in Barry Country. Kevin and TEAM ArcheryEdge President Jordan Williams were killing time shining some fields during late September and caught this guy feeding in a picked corn field. Without much hesitation Kevin hung a set of stands in the block of woods bordering the corn field. Kevin got way, way, way back into the thick stuff and caught this gorgeous buck on his way to feed with plenty of daylight left. The buck walked directly under “Lucky” Leith’s stand and the Muzzy did the rest of the work.
Again much like Josh Farris, Kevin has some even bigger bucks pegged and is pursuing them on a regular basis. Don’t be surprised if Ole’ Lucky whacks another big one. Jokes aside Kevin’s persistence and determination to hunt and be in the woods leads to a lot of his success. Please, check back soon as we will be posting updates weekly.

Team ArcheryEdge on the board!!!!

Josh Farris shot this beautiful Michigan Buck October 1, 2010. Josh has velvet footage and trail camera pictures of this brute. We rough scored this buck at 128".

Well our first season together as TEAM ArcheryEdge has started off with a bang. On October 1, opening day of Michigan’s archery season Josh Farris put down a 128” 8 point. Josh was setup overlooking a picked bean field with trusty cameraman Matt Blahnik. With light fading quickly Josh put an absolutely perfect shot on the side of this Michigan Whitetail.
The video will reveal several important products that TEAM Archery Edge supports. First, the Lumenok on the end of Josh’s arrow looks majestic as his Muzzy penetrates into the deer’s vitals. Secondly, the wind switched on Josh and Matt and was blowing directly at the buck. Thank goodness for Buck Fever Synthetics-Vanishing Hunter because the mature Michigan Monarch walked within 15 yards with not a bit of anxiety. The video is a marketing director’s dream because the products we use and believe in worked amazingly.
Josh and Matt had this area scouted perfectly. They had patterned this buck doing the same thing day after day, while viewing from a distance. They stayed clear of the property, neglecting to check trail cameras in the area. Their patience and scout time paid off greatly as Josh’s biggest buck to date is now at the taxidermy. Don’t expect Josh and Matt’s trophy taking to stop there. They have a few bigger bucks than that on the property and just picked up a new spot that has some giants roaming. Keep checking back for their updates and all of TEAM ArcheryEdge pro-staff hits the woods.
